LEARN MORE about ImTT.... ...Reliving trauma is no longer necessary to heal.
The philosophy of why ImTT works
ImTT is based on the principle that the mind has the tools to heal itself. The unconscious mind that includes automatic survival mechanisms is partly at work here since this part of you knows that it needs to get rid of trauma and addictive issues that are not productive or good for you. ImTT uses a unique form of simple but profound visual imagery processing that can extinguish any trauma and any addiction.
Because the mind is a brilliant and efficient creation, it is now possible to achieve results more quickly and thoroughly than any other therapy. For example, usually, one to three sessions with ImTT are all that is necessary to permanently remove any one single trauma. (Addictions are more complicated even though processing works in the same efficient way, so these issues take more time.)
What's a typical trauma session like?
Two basic things are necessary to lower or eliminate a trauma event.
1. The intensity of the emotion(s) that are keeping the memory image "alive and stuck" within the mind/body system must be lowered in order for the
mind to be able to deconstruct and get rid of the memory image.
2. The trauma image must then be deconstructed so that the mind will automatically send the image to the mind's "delete file."
1a. To efficiently get the mind to cooperate to lower the emotion the client will
identify the color of what the trauma emotion feels like to them. (e.g., Red is often chosen as the color of pain, Black is often chosen as the color of fear,
and so on. Through detailed guided imagery the therapist will lead the client to visualize pixels of the chosen color throughout the body, and will visualize in several rounds the pixels of color leaving all parts of the body and mind. Then the client will notice a significant decrease in the intensity of the trauma emotion, and the mind will be ready to easily deconstruct the trauma image.

2a. The client is asked to pixilate the trauma image to make it easy to dissipate.
The client then deconstructs the pixilated image in whatever way he chooses to see it done, e.g., destroying it by seeing it all burned up. Each time he attempts to reimage the trauma image is automatically becomes less clear until he can not see it any longer. After the final step is made most clients report they are not affected by the trauma at all or very little affected by this trauma. Typically, after one or two of these sessions and checking weeks, months or a year later if any of the trauma effects have come back, the client is considered healed, and typically the trauma never returns.
Clients usually report they can still remember the trauma moments later, but that it doesn't mean anything to them any longer and they are no longer affected by it.
Processing/breaking addictions
Addictions are not really about drugs, alcohol, porn, etc. They are really about the underlying unresolved trauma and the significantly unfulfilled life need that becomes hooked into the mind via the addiction pleasure principle. Similar to the trauma process, the need is assigned a color by the client. The body and mind is "drained" of that color, and the addictive image(s) are deconstructed. Because addictions include unresolved trauma underneath them, successful addiction lessening or eradication typically requires more sessions.
However, what ImTT therapists have learned over the past seven years is that it is possible now than ever before to rid oneself of trauma and addictions within short periods of time without reliving any of these issues. The mind will cooperate naturally with lowering or ending these issues. Almost every other type of therapy does not achieve these profound and quick results.
